The Alternative Gallery – Right on 4th Street in Allentown, this non-profit art center provides a full art gallery, artist studio spaces, performance space and educational classes that are open to everyone. You can see work from contributors across numerous mediums, including sculptors, photographers, comedians, actors, writers, painters, filmmakers and much more. During the summer be sure check out one of the gallery’s open mic nights featuring comedy, music and more. All performers are welcome!

The Colony Meadery – Located in South Allentown, The Colony Meadery makes the most delicious and innovative meads in the world. They produce honey-based alcoholic beverages that amaze patrons everywhere. Check out the Meadery this summer for their tasting flights, meads on draft and by the bottle, mead slushies and regularly scheduled tours.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom – Dorney Park features more than 100 rides and attractions, including ten roller coasters that are the ultimate scream-machines. Once you’re done with the main attractions, head on over to Wildwater Kingdom to enjoy 22 twisting water slides, two lazy rivers and two huge wave pools. Fegley’s Allentown Brew Works – A spiraling five-floor restaurant and production brewery, Fegley’s Allentown Brew Works is Lehigh Valley’s largest restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner every day, the Allentown Brew Works offers award-winning craft brews and tasty food with all-natural ingredients. The brewery is also open to all visitors to witness their sustainable brewing process first-hand and to taste a variety of their ales.

Lehigh Valley Covered Bridge Tour – This self-guided tour explores the Lehigh Valley’s seven historic covered bridges. The oldest bridge on the tour dates back to 1839, traveling you back in time to a simpler way of life. With beautiful backdrops and magnificent structures these covered bridges are worth a visit.

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Catch a baseball game at the Coca-Cola Park in Allentown to see the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in action. Become part of the “Hog Wild” fan base and cheer our team to victory. The stadium is also host to different events throughout the season, so be sure to be on the lookout for different group outings this summer!

Lehigh Parkway Park – Open to the public, this local treasure is the best place in Allentown to go fishing, horseback riding, or just to enjoy nature this summer. Located along the Little Lehigh River, Parkway Park offers running and biking trails through scenic grounds and great areas to explore, including the fish hatchery and covered bridge.
